Where Journey of Hope Begins

In 1998, Ph. Iyad Al-Mokdad went to Canada and
during his extended stay there, his new baby was born. As a pharmacist, he was
determined to ensure his child received the adequate supplementation. This
belief/insistence arose from a deep understanding of the several/extensive
publications about/highlighting the importance of Vitamin D for children since
birth alongside Canada's leadership in the pharmaceutical industry, and the
evident lack of a good Vitamin D product in the Lebanese market.

Since Canada is a renowned country in the
healthcare and pharmaceutical industry, Ph. Al Mokdad was determined to
source the best vitamin D supplementation from there.
After extensive research and browsing the shelves of various pharmacies, he ultimately selected PediaVIT D marking a turning point in Vitamin D supplementation in Lebanon.

Ph. Al-Mokdad’s discovery of a
Vitamin D solution for a baby fueled a vision. He saw an opportunity to address
the common deficiency in Lebanese children, especially that his mission was to
raise awareness using the scientific research. This moment sparked the
foundation of IYAMED, in collaboration with EURO-PHARM International Canada
Inc., the product’s manufacturer, united by a heartfelt mission:
